Hospital separations by reason for hospitalisation

 

In general, the number of hospitalisations for the following diagnosis categories remained relatively constant between 2000 and 2008. However, hospital separations for endocrine disorders, injury and poisoning and supplementary classifications have shown a noteworthy increase from 2003 to 2008.

Hospital separations for 0 – 4 year olds

 

 

 

Falling from a high point in 2000, the number of hospitalisations for diseases of the respiratory system in children aged 0-4 years declined significantly in 2001, and fluctuated in numbers thereafter.
