Hours worked in East Pilbara(S) remained relatively stable over the 1996 & 2001 Census periods. The largest movement was in the 49+ hours worked category, which saw a substantial jump from the 2001 to the 2006 Census.

 

 

 

 

 

The number of men in the 49+ hours category comprised the majority of male workers in East

Pilbara(S). This proportion rose for both males and females working 49 or more hours per week.
