Number of people that use the internet
While just over 23% of people were accessing the internet at home in 2001, over 68% of all private dwellings had an internet connection by 2006 in East Pilbara(S).
From a total of 1,492 households in East Pilbara(S), 1,023 (68.6%) had an internet connection. Of these, 793 (77.5%) had a broadband connection, marginally higher than the other shires within the Pilbara.
