Reports of burglary and theft fell between 2001-02 and 2005-06. Property damage, burglary and theft comprised the overwhelming majority of property crimes between 2001-02 and 2007-08 in East Pilbara(S). Reported crimes of drug possession fell from a high of 61 cases in 2001-02 to 25 cases in 2006-07.
