The number of lettable units and project costs under construction in the Pilbara region jumped significantly in 2004 and remained consistent for 2005 and 2006. The average cost of the developments for each lettable unit has fluctuated substantially between 2000 and 2008. The completion of projects may not occur during the same year due to building constraints and timelines experienced in the Pilbara.
